About Woodworker's Emporium
Las Vegas was still a small town in 1980
with no more than 500,000 inhabitants. Woodworker’s Emporium was started in the
corner of a custom furniture shop with a few woodworking hand tools and some
hardware imported from Europe for sale. Over the years the town grew and became
the big city it is today; as the construction industry expanded so did the
demand for quality woodworking hand tools and woodworking machinery. Today
Woodworker's Emporium occupies a 12000 sqft retail store in the industrial
district of Las Vegas. Our first line of machinery was Inca tools, followed by
Laguna tools then the major brands like Delta Machinery, Jet and Powermatic,
Kreg tools, CTD,Ritter Mfg inc. Striebig saws and SawStop and many others. Power
tool demand has also seen a tremendous increase. We offer a complete line of
Festool, Porter-Cable, Bosch and Dewalt as well as Tormek . As the largest
machinery distributor in Southern Nevada we have turned our interest toward
woodturning and are now importing a line of lathes and lathes accessories from
Australia.
Vicmarc lathes are recognized by the professional wood turners as the the premier lathe when it comes to smoothness
and reliability. Vicmarc offers both long and short bed lathes as well as
woodturning chucks and a large variety of jaws and woodturning accessories.
The growth of woodturning and our own
passion for the subject has prompted us to offer woodturning tools and lathes on
this web-site. We recently added the Mc Naughton line of coring systems.
