Store Policies


Our website pulls shipping prices directly from UPS and USPS published rates. Shipping will vary depending on destination and weight. If you would like a shipping estimate before going through the checkout process, just add the item(s) of interest to the shopping cart, then click "Add info" on the shipping line. 

Shipping cost will always be calculated by weight. However, if USPS Priority Mail is chosen as a shipping method, and the items fit into a cheaper Flat Rate Box, the shipping amount will be reduced when the order is processed. Learn More

We do our best to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible, but please keep in mind we are a small company, and we also have a physical store to run. Sometimes when the store gets too busy it can slow down order processing. In most cases, orders will ship within 3 business days. We don't ship on Saturday or Sunday, so most orders placed on Friday and all orders placed on the weekend will be shipped as soon as possible the following week. Once shipped, USPS shipping typically arrives within 2-3 business days, UPS normally takes 3-7 days depending on distance and accessibility. Deliveries to rural areas may take longer. International orders will vary depending on destination, but typically take 1-2 weeks via priority mail, and may take up to 3-4 weeks for First Class International. Please note that International shipments are not insured and will not be replaced if lost or damaged. You are responsible for any customs fees, duties, and taxes charged by your country. Hazardous items cannot be shipped internationally.

Expedited shipping methods (such as UPS Next Day Air) are given priority, and are shipped as soon as possible. Depending on what time the order is received, it may not be possible to ship the same day. It is always a good idea to call first to verify. Please keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on weekends (i.e. an overnight order shipped on Friday will not be delivered until Monday.)

Woodworkers Emporium cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. In the event of a lost or damaged package we will assist you in any way we can, but we are not obligated to replace the merchandise unless the shipment is insured. Shipping insurance is available, but we have no way to offer it on the website at this point. You can call the store at 1-800-779-7458 or send an email to to request insurance on an order. USPS shipments are insured up to $50 by default, anything over $50 will require additional insurance.


Shipping Notifications

We will send you notifications by email to keep you up-to-date the status of your package. Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation message. We’ll also send a notification with tracking information once your order leaves our warehouse.



All returns must be pre-approved. Please call the store at 1-800-779-7458 or go to "My Account > Completed Orders > Return Item(s)" for authorization. If the product is being returned due to a defect or an error on our part, we will send a return shipping label and replace the product free of charge or issue a refund.

All other returns must be within 30 days of the original purchase and must be in resellable condition. Please ship returns pre-paid to the address Below.

Sorry, Special Order products cannot be returned. This includes all products that ship directly from the manufacturer.



Pricing on our website is updated by a bulk import, and prices don't always import correctly. We reserve the right to change incorrect pricing at any time without notice. If you purchase an item that has an incorrect price, you will be given the option to cancel the order for a full refund, or pay the difference. In the event you are overcharged you will receive a refund.



Like any business, we need to gather some personal information. This information is used for the sole purpose of providing you with the best customer experience possible. We realize you probably don't want to read some long blah blah blah policy, so to put it simply: We will never sell or trade any of your personal information for any reason. Period.
