Custom Adapter Sleeves for SB Bolsters Pls allow a week to make

For fitting square or rectangular tangs into a Stuart Batty Standard 3/4" Bolster (Bolster not included)

We frequently get the question "How do I mount square tools into an SB Bolster?"

We have always recommended buying the closest round or oval bolster and filling the gap with epoxy. Now there is an easier way. These custom made adapters will allow you to mount tools like skews and roughing gouges (and even Easy Wood Tools!) into a Standard 3/4" Bolster with minimal epoxy. They will also ensure the tool stays straight while the epoxy dries.

As the name implies, the custom adapter sleeves are made to order, please allow a few extra days for delivery.

Please be as accurate as possible when filling in the size in the text box above. Since these are custom made they are non-refundable. If you can provide the size in decimal form, that would be very helpful.

*Please note that there are size limits (see chart below). We frequently get requests for inserts that push the boundaries and don't leave much (if any) material in the corners. We will make the inserts as close as we can to the requested size, but you may need to grind the tang of your tool a bit to make it fit.

These are simply intended to reduce the amount of epoxy needed for tools with square tangs, they do not need to be a perfect fit.
